Big Product Launches: Changing the Nail Game

2024 wasn’t just any year—it was a game-changing year with some seriously exciting product launches. We brought new innovations to the HONA world, and we can’t wait for you to relive the excitement! 

• PureFoundation: This HEMA-free, hypoallergenic builder gel took the HONA world by storm, especially with clients who struggle with retention. It’s flexible, longlasting reliable, and the ultimate solution for long-lasting nails. We didn’t just launch it—we had our community involved with a trial phase to perfect it, and the feedback has been amazing!

• Swift Tips System: If you haven’t tried this gel extension system yet, where have you been? It's so easy, it practically does the work for you! Swift Tips have become a fan favourite for nail techs looking for speed and perfection in every set.

• Gel Polish Collections: From the soft hues of Spring Meadows to the depth of Into the Darkness and the neon-inspired Rodeo Nights, these collections filled the gaps, quickly becoming an essential for every nail tech’s kit.

• True Sculpt: A versatile hard gel available in Core, Express, and Fibre formulas, offering the perfect solutions for all your clients' nail needs. This one’s still in its early stages, but the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we can’t wait to see how it continues to take off!

HONA Events Recap 2024: Gather, Learn, Celebrate!

We weren’t just launching products this year; we were also bringing the HONA community together through some seriously fun events. From live demos to hands-on workshops, we made sure our community had opportunities to connect, learn, and party!

• Rodeo Nights: Picture this: nail techs, live demos, workshops, and non-stop inspiration. This year’s Rodeo Nights was a hit, with an atmosphere that was as electric as the nail art itself! It quickly became the must-attend event for professionals who want to network, learn, and have a little fun while doing it. Can we do it again already?

• Swift Tips Training Day: We love giving back to the community, and our Swift Tips Training Day was a perfect example of that! Local South Wales techs got their hands on some brand-new skills, earned an ATB qualification, and left with even more confidence to take their craft to the next level! It was a great day to empower our community with our HONA educators! 

• HONA After Christmas Party: Were continuing the excitement of our events this January with the HONA "after Christmas, Christmas party' an exciting evening of entertainment for the nail tech community to let their hair down after the busy festive period! you can find out more here:

At HONA, we believe that knowledge is power, especially when it comes to growing your business. This year, we've had the privilege of hosting a series of Business Mastery live sessions with some truly incredible industry guests, all aimed at helping our community of nail professionals level up their skills and businesses.

From expert advice on upscaling your services to tips on how to make the most of social media, these live sessions have been a wealth of knowledge for anyone looking to thrive in the nail industry.

Generation HONA: Empowering the Next Generation

In 2024, we also focused on Generation HONA, making sure that new talent felt empowered and equipped to thrive. Whether it was through workshops, community events, or mentoring, we’ve been helping shape the next generation of nail techs, offering support, resources, and a little extra inspiration. The future of nails is looking brighter than ever!

LONDON Fashion Week 

This year the incredible Morgan had the opportunity to attend London Fashion Week on behalf of HONA! It was our first time attending as sponsors and we couldn't be prouder!

London Fashion Week is a hub for inspiration, showcasing dazzling displays of creativity, innovation, and style. This year, HONA had the incredible opportunity to sponsor the nails for Karoline Vitto’s Spring 2025 show, curated by Tyler (@_tylerphoenix_nails).

"As we reflect on 2024, we couldn’t be prouder of everything we’ve achieved together at HONA. This year has been one of huge growth, innovation, and incredible teamwork, and we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has contributed to our success.

To our incredible staff – both old and new – their dedication, passion, and hard work have been the driving force behind everything we do. Some have been with us from the very beginning and this year especially, we have had a lot more join the HONA family. We appreciate each of them for their unique contributions. They all bring energy, creativity, and a commitment to excellence that make HONA the special place it is. We know firsthand how crazy this year has been. We as a company have had so much going on, but it’s amazing how everyone’s managed to push through and give their all.  Every bit of effort counts, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

We’re also excited about the new product launches that have made this year so memorable. From innovative solutions to exciting updates, we’ve pushed the envelope and delivered products that reflect our values and the needs of our community.
